The Research Unit of the Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli (UNICAMPANIA) operates in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione. The main research activities are in the fields of new sensors and actuators for robotic applications, modelling and control of flexible structures. The group was involved in a number of research projects. Università degli Studi di Salerno (UNISA) is one of the largest University in Southern Italy. The Automatica Lab operates in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione, Ingegneria Elettrica e Matematica Applicata (DIEM) where since more than 15 years is committed to research in robotics and automation. Since 2004 the Automatica Lab is active equipped with two industrial robots Comau SiX with open control architecture and a prototype of automated warehouse.
